Defibrillators are medical devices which must be operational and on standby 24 hours a day, regardless of the conditions. Their task is to provide first aid and protect life, therefore they require special protection, especially outside of the buildings, where they are exposed to weather conditions.

Most users keep them in simple cabinets, not knowing that too high or too low temperature in such a cabinet may permanently damage the defibrillator’s components or stop it completely.

We usually find out about the damage, during a rescue operation, when there is no time left for any repairs, and the rescuers are bystanders who are relying on the defibrillator being in working order and ready for action. This situation can lead to tragic consequences.

Mechanical and gravity ventilation

AED Climate BOX ensures appropriate climatic conditions for defibrillators through specially designed and tested ventilation ducts.

They ensure free flow of external air through the inside of the cabinet. As a result, the AED Climate BOX can be installed outdoors in full sunlight and work in an outside temperature of up to 30°C.
